As a pioneer of the second graduating class in 1976, after the founding of the school. I am happy to say that life will bring trials and tribulations which you are now more prepared to overcome as you move thru life. This covid19 pandemic will pass and you new graduates will be here to move us all forward. Stay strong, live life and prosper. Most of all stay safe for you and your families.

Graduation is here. Today is a milestone. It tells you how far you’ve come. Keep learning, keep trying, keep accomplishing and keep venturing on through your journey. Congratulations Class of 2020!!

This has been an unprecedented semester, and you have shown resilience and perseverance in the face of adversity. You have made SUNY Poly very proud – congratulations! I am so grateful to have worked with many of you and I will truly miss seeing you in the SGU Suite as well as around campus.
